I find it easy, actually almost AFK, while am at work and my cat is at home easy. Frankly, trying to base your arguement around "Well some players can't do it" is very poor.

Eve shouldn't be lowered to the lowest common denominator.

Where no matter how much you suck, and how little you actually know about the game, everyone can enjoy the benfits of being a billionare.

Don't want to interact with other players? Hey look here's some NPC content for you. Whats that? You don't like actually risking your ship? Well then, we'll just have to make sure those nasty NPC charactors don't warp scamble you. Why you say you want to make as much isk as the guy in 0.0, because its not fair, and you pay as much as anyone else. Sure here you go, we'll give you some easily chainable level 4 missions, that you can do in high sec, where the only compition you'll ever face is spamming the sell channel faster then the other guy.

Missions in general becan the desent of eve. A desent into the relm of every other half baked, no good, no thinking game out there. Everyone loves success, and people pay for that, and in eve, missions are the way to that. A means where no matter how many silly mistakes you make, your able to gind your way into greatness with everyone else.

In castor, I was playing a game where by and large my own success was relient on my own skills, and smarts. But all that changed in the great expansion called Exodus. Where everyone and his mother, left 0.0, for the no risk, no effort rewatds that empire gave them. I miss eve, and I miss being out smarted by players who are better then I am, and there's a few. But right now, who cares.

If your still stuck in the old days of fighting for space, losing ships over it, and actually taking some sort of risk for your reward, then your either dumb, or still playing eve in "old school" mode. Because today we have a world where everyone wins, a world where no matter how far you stray from the orginal premise of the game, you still get all the reward.

Me? I like old school eve. Heck I even liked loosing to players who played the game better then me. And the 6 of us who are left, will still have a grand old time doing it. Only we'll be out classed, and out played by players and thier cat, who they trained to press the accept mission button.

RIP Eve, you were somthing differant, and I'll still play you as long as I can. And welcome to the new era, long live "Ginding in space" may the countless clueless gain much happyness with the hordes of isk that I'l never see actually see, while I continue to enjoy strugguling to make mine.
